Mayor Fuller signed the Firefighting Service Agreement with Sandyston Township Volunteer Fire Department for the year 2008.  The agreement is in the amount of $2,500.

The committee reviewed the correspondence.

Ms. Pat Kibildis, Program Development Specialist, from the Municipal Alliance Program came forward to explain the Alliance Program.  Walpack, Montague, and Sandyston are grouped together.  Every four years a needs assessment must be completed.  Each municipality must supply a representative to attend two meetings of approximately two hours.  If a township chooses not to participate, the funding will no longer be issued to that township.  The meetings will take place before the end of February.  Committeeman Heigis volunteered to be the representative for Walpack.  The committee thanked Ms. Kibildis for attending the meeting.

There being no one in attendance and no further business to discuss, Committeeman Maglio made a motion to adjourn the meeting seconded by Committeeman Heigis.  The meeting was adjourned at 8:21 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Betsy M. Cuneo
