Walpack Township Committee Meeting Minutes:

November 25, 2008

The meeting of the Walpack Township Committee was called to order at 8 p.m. by Mayor Fuller who stated this meeting was being held in compliance with the Open Public Meetings Act having been duly advertised.

Present were:  Committeeman Maglio, Committeeman Heigis, and Mayor Fuller

Also in attendance:  Michelle LaStarza, Virginia Fuller

The minutes of the October 28, 2008 meeting were presented for approval.  Committeeman Heigis made a motion to approve the minutes seconded by Committeeman Maglio and unanimously carried.

Committeeman Heigis made a motion to approve the vouchers for payment seconded by Committeeman Maglio and unanimously carried.  The following bills were approved for payment:

The committee reviewed the 911 Dispatching Agreement with the Town of Newton.  The amounts to be charged are as follows:  2009 - $3,640,  2010 - $3,786, 2011 - $3,938.  Committeeman Maglio made a motion to approve the agreement seconded by Committeeman Heigis and unanimously carried.  The clerk and mayor signed the agreement. 

The committee reviewed the correspondence.  The county sent a letter regarding the model ordinance for the recycling ordinance.  The clerk will forward it to the attorney for his review. 

There being no further business to discuss and no one in attendance, Committeeman Maglio made a motion to adjourn the meeting seconded by Committeeman Heigis.  The meeting was adjourned at 8:12 p.m.
