Mayor Fuller informed the committee of a meeting that took place between him and the National Park Service regarding the closing of the last park ranger building in Walpack. Superintendent Donahue stated it wasn’t cost effective to continue operations from New Jersey as there was only one person who was working in that building. Mayor Fuller requested the Township be patrolled more frequently and the roads needed more attention regarding mowing and patching. Superintendent Donahue stated there would be more ranger presence. Mayor Fuller commented that Flatbrook Road has been patched and mowing has occurred within the boundaries of the township.

The committee reviewed the correspondence.

There being no further business to discuss and no one in attendance, Committeeman Maglio made a motion to adjourn seconded by Committeeman Heigis. The meeting was adjourned at 8:21 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Betsy M. Cuneo
Municipal Clerk
