Mayor Maglio updated the committee as to the progress of the repair of the roads in the township. At this time, the National Park Service is waiting for the estimate to repair the roads affected by the latest storm.
Committeeman Pagano informed the committee of an incident that occurred recently where a call to 911 dispatch resulted in some confusion. Blue Ridge Rescue Squad responded quickly to the incident; however, Blairstown Rescue Squad did not respond as the dispatch service was unable to determine where the Walpack Inn was located. Mayor Maglio stated he would contact 911 dispatch as well as the Blairstown Rescue Squad.
The garage attached to the municipality was discussed. The National Park Service, through a verbal agreement, uses the garage for storage of their signs.
The committee reviewed the website. A few minor changes are in the process. Committeeman Pagano will contact the Walpack Historical Society for pictures and written content.
The committee reviewed the 911 renewal.
