Walpack Township Committee Meeting Minutes:

September 24, 2013



The meeting was called to order at 8 p.m. by Mayor Maglio who stated this meeting was being held in compliance with the Open Public Meeting Act having been duly advertised.

Present were: Mayor Maglio, Committeewoman Wycalek

Absent: Committeeman Heigis and Michelle LaStarza

The minutes of July 30, 2013 were presented for approval. Committeewoman Wycalek made a motion to approve the minutes seconded by Mayor Maglio.

The The committee reviewed the vouchers. Committeewoman Wycalek made a motion to approve the vouchers for payment seconded by Mayor Maglio.

The clerk presented an on premise raffle license for a fundraiser to benefit the Sandyston Volunteer Fire Department to be held October 20, 2013 at the Walpack Inn. Mayor Maglio made a motion to forward the application to Legalized Games of Chance Commission seconded by Committeewoman Wycalek.

Committeewoman Wycalek informed the committee of a complaint she received regarding the deteriorating condition of Old Mine Road near the Millbrook Village. Mayor Maglio will contact the National Park Service. Committeewoman Wycalek will keep the resident updated as information becomes available.

The committee reviewed the correspondence.

There being no one in attendance and no further business to discuss, Committeewoman Wycalek made a motion to adjourn seconded by Mayor Maglio. The meeting was adjourned at 8:17 p.m.
