Walpack Township Committee Meeting Minutes:

October 27, 2015



Mayor Maglio called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. stating this meeting is being held in compliance with the Open Public Meetings Act having been duly advertised.

Present were: Mayor Maglio, Committeewoman Wycalek
Absent: Committeeman Heigis


Also in attendance: Michelle LaStarza

Committeewoman Wycalek made a motion to approve the minutes of the September 29, 2015 meeting seconded by Mayor Maglio.
Michelle LaStarza presented the bills for payment Committeewoman Wycalek made a motion to approve the vouchers for payment seconded by Mayor Maglio. The following bills were approved for payment:

Michelle LaStarza presented the committee the Best Practice Survey. Mayor Maglio made a motion to approve the Best Practice seconded by Committeewoman Wycalek.

Mayor Maglio informed the committee that he will be attending a County Open Space Meeeting on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the Sandyston Township Municipal Building. He will update the committee at the next monthly meeting.

Mayor Maglio read the following resolution into the record:

WALPACK TOWNSHIP
Resolution
A Resolution Appointing Theresa Doyle as Deputy Registrar

 

WHEREAS, Walpack Township is in need of a Deputy Registrar due to a vacancy created by the retirement of Betsy Pinzone; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Walpack Township Committee hereby appoints Theresa Doyle as Deputy Registrar with the salary of $100 per year.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution is a true and exact copy of the resolution adopted by the Walpack Township Committee held on October 27, 2015.

There being no one in attendance and no further business to discuss, Mayor Maglio made a motion to adjourn seconded by Committeewoman Wycalek. The meeting was adjourned at 7:17 p.m.
