Walpack Township Committee Meeting Minutes:

June 30, 2009

The meeting of the Walpack Township Committee was called to order at 8 p.m. by Mayor Fuller who stated this meeting was being held in compliance with the Open Public Meetings Act having been duly advertised.

Present were: Mayor Fuller, Deputy Mayor Maglio, and Committeeman Heigis

Also in attendance: Virginia Fuller Deputy Clerk and Michelle LaStarza CFO

The minutes of the May 26, 2009 and June 5, 2009 meetings were presented for approval. Deputy Mayor Maglio made a motion to approve the minutes seconded by Committeeman Heigis and unanimously carried.

The vouchers were presented for approval by Mayor Fuller. Committeeman Heigis made a motion to approve the vouchers for payment seconded by Deputy Mayor Maglio and unanimously carried.

Ordinance 2009-03 An Ordinance Amending the General Ordinances of the Township of Walpack Concerning Photocopy and Certified Fees was introduced for second reading by Mayor Fuller. Mayor Fuller made a motion to open the meeting to the floor for comment seconded by Deputy Mayor Maglio. There being no one in attendance, Deputy Mayor Maglio made a motion to close the hearing to the floor seconded by Committeeman Heigis. Mayor Fuller made a motion to adopt the ordinance seconded by Committeeman Heigis. 

A roll call vote followed: Ayes: Maglio, Heigis, Fuller Nays: 0 Abstain: 0 Absent: 0

The committee reviewed the correspondence. The Board of Health made an inspection at the campground. A checklist of items in need of repair has been given to the owner of the campground.

There being no one in attendance and no further business to discuss, Deputy Mayor Maglio made a motion to close the meeting seconded by Committeeman Heigis. The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
