Walpack Township Committee Meeting Minutes:

October 28, 2014



Mayor Maglio called the meeting of the Walpack Township Committee to order at 7 p.m. stating this meeting was being held in compliance with the Open Public Meetings Act having been duly advertised.

Present were: Committeewoman Wycalek and Mayor Maglio

Absent: Committeeman Heigis

Also in attendance: Michelle LaStarza

Committeewoman Wycalek made a motion to approve the minutes of September 30, 2014 seconded by Mayor Maglio.

Michelle LaStarza presented the treasurer’s report and bill list for approval. Committeewoman Wycalek made a motion to approve the bills to be paid seconded by Mayor Maglio. The following bills were approved for payment:

Michelle LaStarza stated there is no additional information available regarding the IRS. Michelle LaStarza also presented the Corrective Action Plan for the 2013 Audit. No corrective actions are recommended.

The clerk informed the committee of the progress of locating the ordinances for review by the township attorney. The clerk will continue searching for documents.

The clerk stated the township building oil burner is in need of being serviced. The clerk will schedule the cleaning.

The Sussex County Sheriff’s Office is scheduled to paint the inside of the municipal building during the week of November 17, 2014. The township must provide rollers, brushes, paint trays.

The committee reviewed the correspondence.

There being no further comment and no further business to discuss, Committeewoman Wycalek made a motion to adjourn seconded by Mayor Maglio. The meeting was adjourned at 7:18 p.m.
