Walpack Township Committee Meeting Minutes:

August 25, 2015



Mayor Maglio called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. stating this meeting is being held in compliance with the Open Public Meetings Act having been duly advertised.

Present were: Mayor Maglio, Committeewoman Wycalek

Absent: Committeeman Heigis

Also in attendance: Michelle LaStarza

Committeewoman Wycalek made a motion to approve the July 28, 2015 regular and executive session minutes seconded by Mayor Maglio.

Michelle LaStarza presented the bills for payment. Committeewoman Wycalek made a motion to approve the vouchers for payment seconded by Mayor Maglio. The following bills were approved for payment:

A Caterers’ Permit from Post Time Pub was presented for approval. Mayor Maglio made a motion to approve the application seconded by Committeewoman Wycalek. The Rosenkrans Farm,
d/b/a 18 Old Mine Road will hold a music festival September 11, 2015 through September 13, 2015.

Mayor Maglio read the following resolution.

 

WALPACK TOWNSHIP
Resolution
A RESOLUTION TO AMEND A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION FOR THE MUNICIPAL ALLIANCE GRANT
(fiscal grant cycle July 2015 – June 2019)

 

WHEREAS, A resolution authorized the submission of an application for the Municipal Alliance Grant (fiscal grant cycle July 2015 – June 2019) and was approved by the Township Committee of the Township of Walpack on February 3, 2015; and

WHEREAS, the Township of Walpack has been advised by the State of New Jersey that the resolution incorrectly stated in item number 1 that “the township committee does hereby authorize submission of an application for the Municipal Alliance Grant for “calendar year 2015” in the amount of:; and

WHEREAS, the State of New Jersey has requested an amendment to the resolution to correct item number 1 to read “the Township Committee does hereby authorize submission of an application for the Municipal Alliance Grant for “fiscal year 2016” in the amount of’;:

There being no one in attendance and no further business to discuss, Committeewoman Wycalek made a motion to adjourn seconded by Mayor Maglio. The meeting was adjourned at 7:15 p.m.
